ALBAWABA - In a news briefing, Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson Daniel Hagari said the IDF is ready to face Iranian threats despite rising tensions. Hagari stressed Israel's defense apparatus's readiness to handle any situation.

After Hezbollah attacked an Israeli military installation, Hagari said Israel's air defense systems stopped most missiles, preventing deaths. He stressed that Israel can defend itself and undertake offensives.

Hagari noted a recent meeting between Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and US Central Command Commander General Michael Erik Kurilla to examine the situation.

Hagari emphasized Israel's willingness to fight Iran's threats after Israeli attacks on Iran's Damascus consulate. He emphasized Israel's readiness and capacity to handle varied situations.

Israeli and Iranian tensions rose after attacks on Iran's consulate killed Iranian Revolutionary Guard generals. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei condemned the incident, while US President Joe Biden reaffirmed his support for Israel amid mounting fears over Iran's aggression.

France advised against visiting Iran, Lebanon, Israel, and Palestinian areas due to rising tensions. Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz emphasized Israel's readiness to retaliate against Iranian strikes.
