ALBAWABA- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a clear statement expressing that he does not consider Hamas a terrorist organization. He views Hamas as a liberation movement that seeks to free its people and land from Israeli occupation.
In his address in front of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, he strongly condemned Israel's actions in Gaza, characterizing them as those of a terrorist organization rather than a state.
Erdogan also pledged popular, official, economic, and military solidarity with the Palestinian people if needed.
This statement marks one of Erdogan's most assertive positions on the Israeli aggression in Gaza during the past 18 days.
