A member of the Hamas movement was injured Sunday while handling a small bomb, the Palestinian police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with light injuries. Police did not identify him by name.
"A Hamas militant in Gaza City was hurt by the explosion of a small home-made bomb he was handling," said the police, adding that they have launched an investigation.
Last week, security officials said Palestinian police had broken up a Hamas bomb factory in the West Bank town of Nablus, confiscating explosives and arresting four people - GAZA CITY (AFP)
