Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa on Wednesday reiterated the need to implement a resolution stipulating the suspension of all political contacts with Israel, reported the official Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA).
Following his meeting in Beirut with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud, Moussa stressed to reporters the decision of the follow-up committee to stop all political contacts with Israel until the "aggression against the Palestinian people" was stopped, in addition to the lifting of the siege imposed on Palestinian lands.
He said that his talks with Lahoud had covered ways of activating joint Arab efforts and ongoing preparations to host the Arab summit in Beirut next April.
Lahoud is scheduled to meet with the council of Arab information ministers, which is expected to issue the recommendations of their 34th conference on Wednesday – Albawaba.com
