ALBAWABA - Hezbollah has announced the downing of an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in southern Lebanon, revealing details of the incident.
According to their statement, the Hermes-450 UAV, allegedly attempting to breach Lebanese airspace for an attack, was brought down in the Ai'shiyah region of southern Lebanon.
While Hezbollah provided confirmation of the incident, specific details regarding the method of the UAV's destruction were not disclosed.
As of now, there has been no official response from the Israeli military regarding the reported incident.
The clash between the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Hezbollah, ongoing since October 8, 2023, has resulted in casualties on both sides, with fatalities reported among Hezbollah members, Lebanese civilians, as well as Israeli civilians and soldiers.
