ALBAWABA- The Israeli Army has confirmed the assassination of Ali Nazih Abd Ali, a senior Hezbollah official responsible for the group's southern front, during a raid in Al-Bazouriya, southern Lebanon.

This operation follows an earlier Israeli drone strike that targeted a vehicle on the road between Al-Bazouriya and Wadi Gilo, escalating regional tensions.

The strike, which the Lebanese Ministry of Health reports resulted in the death of one young man and injured two others, occurred just five days after the assassination of Fouad Shukr, a senior Hezbollah commander and deputy to Hassan Nasrallah, in the Southern neighborhood of Beirut.

Hezbollah mourns Ali Nazih Abd Ali, a fighter killed in an Israeli raid on Al-Bazouriya. In retaliation, Hezbollah confirmed that it launched direct fire from Lebanon at Israeli targets in the Upper Galilee, specifically hitting the Mitat Barracks and the Al-Asi site with artillery shells.

The ongoing violence underscores the heightened state of conflict between Hezbollah and Israeli forces, further destabilizing the already volatile region.
