The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) participates in the 6th edition of the Emirates Career Fair which begins today, April 23 till the 25th at the World Trade Center. H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai visited the stall put up by the RTA at the fare.
The participation of the RTA at such a fair is to attract local talent and is in lines with the vision of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, of maximizing and providing career opportunities to the locals in the Emirate .
Participation of the authority in initiatives like this has made it one of the organizations that have employed the maximum number of nationals. Moreover the top level management has nationals with all leading positions who are trained and qualified and whose expertise today have helped the authority realize its objectives and work collectively to achieve its vision.
Yousuf Jawad, Head of the Department for Human Resources in the RTA said," With reference to the instructions received from H.E Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Director of the Roads and Transport, the RTA supports the objective of maximizing career prospective for nationals. We believe that participation in such trade fairs and exhibitions like the Emirates Career Fare will bridge the communication between various business and governmental organizations and the vision of maximizing job opportunities to citizens of the GCC will be realized."
"Over the last few months we have employed a huge number of nationals across various departments of the RTA and they represent more than 50% of the employees. Our top level management includes all nationals in various departments from sectors that include IT, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Planning, etc ", he added.
The Emirates Career Fare offers loads of jobs opportunities and has various lectures and workshops to encourage participation and attract budding talent for the prevailing job opportunities in the market.
