A high-ranking intelligence officer in Egypt was shot 15 times by four armed men when he tried to arrest them on Saturday.
Major Maged Zaydan was shot shot dead by the men, who were changing the license plates of two stolen cars in the center of the town of Toukh.
Security forces surrounded the town in an attempt to chase down the criminals, who fled the scene in a Mercedes. The second stolen car was found on the scene along with Zaydan’s bullet-riddled corpse – Albawaba.com
