Hizbullah leader on Thursday evening pledged to bring home all prisoners held by Israel and said he expected to hear from a German mediator in the next three days on the proposed swap of prisoners and bodies with Israel.
"We do not accept the distinctions Israel is making between people who have blood on their hands and people who do not," Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah told a crowd in Beirut.
Nasrallah also said that Israel itself had "blood on its hands," for killing Palestinians in the occupied territories and demolishing their homes.
Nasrallah added he is waiting to hear from the Germans, who are expected to visit Beirut to discuss the prisoner swap with him.
"We will know the truth and the details in the next three days, God willing," Nasrallah said.
Earlier, it was reported that the German mediator of the prisoner deal, Ernest Orlaw is in Lebanon to brief Nasrallah with regards to Israel's stance on the swap.
According to Lebanese press reports, "Nasrallah is expected to inform the German mediator of his reservations from Israel's attempt to bring the negotiations back to the starting point."
The Hizbullah leader was expected to tell the German broker that he does not accept Israel's new terms, even if this will postpone the prisoner exchange by many months, the reports said.
Sources in Lebanon said the deal may be postponed by two months "since there is no place to discuss what has been agreed upon in the past," in referral to Israel's refusal to release Samir Kuntar, a Lebanese PLO activist who killed three Israelis in a 1979 attack. (Albawaba.com)
