The International Hotel & Restaurant Association launched at the annual congress in Egypt “the Young Hotelier of the World Award 2001, the Environmental Award 2001, the Silent Auction and the 2002 Summer Scholarship Program.”
The awards are granted to hotels having distinguished environmental initiatives and ambitious young hoteliers “who should be the Young Hotelier of the World 2001,” said the Hotel News Source.
The IH&RA is also organizing a Silent Auction by collecting donations (hotel packages, tours, art works) to highlight career opportunities in the industry by offering a unique learning experience through the summer scholarship program – Albawaba.com
