Houthi leader announces military operations reaching Mediterranean

According to Al-Houthi, the Houthis have targeted a total of 119 ships linked to Israeli, American, and British interests since last November 2023.

ALBAWABA- Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, the top Houthi leader, announced a series of military operations carried out this week in various strategic locations. Al-Houthi revealed that eight operations involving 15 missiles and drones were conducted in the Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean.

 He also disclosed that one operation targeted the Mediterranean Sea.

Al-Houthi emphasized the continuous development of their operations and highlighted their ongoing coordination with allies in Iraq. He reaffirmed the group's boundless support for Palestine and the Yemeni people's sense of responsibility towards the Palestinian cause.

According to Al-Houthi, the Houthis have targeted a total of 119 ships linked to Israeli, American, and British interests since last November 2023. 

This week, they claimed to have shot down two American MQ-9 drones over the airspace of Ma’rib and Al-Bayda governorates. 

Additionally, one of the targeted ships belonged to a company that violated the embargo by entering Zionist ports.
