Yemeni forces opened fire at Shia protesters attempting to storm a cabinet building in the country’s capital Sanaa Tuesday, killing at least one person, according to a Reuters photographer.

Anti-government demonstrators loyal to the Houthi militant group said two of their members were killed, while several were wounded, which has not been verified.

Houthi activists have held sit-in protests outside government buildings and blocked roads over the past few weeks over anger at fuel subsidies.
