ALBAWABA - In an official statement, Yemen's Houthis praised the Hezbollah strikes on Israeli sites, and renewed its threats to attack Israel in response to Israeli strikes on a port in Yemen.
"We congratulate Hezbollah and its Secretary-General on the great and courageous attack carried out by the resistance this morning against the Israeli enemy" the Houthi statement reads.
Hezbollah said in a statement earlier today that it had carried out drone and missile strikes deep within Israel in vengeance for Fuad Shukr's killing later in July.
The announcement coincides with the Israeli Army's announcement that it will be conducting many airstrikes on southern Lebanon as a preventative step in response to possible Hezbollah missile launches at Israel.
According to Hezbollah, this strike is the first reaction to Fuad Shukr's July 30th targeting. Not long after, all flights to and from Ben Gurion International Airport, which is close to Tel Aviv, were suspended by Israeli authorities; however, they were ultimately allowed to continue.
