ALBAWABA- Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced a series of military operations targeting U.S. and Israeli assets.
Saree claimed that the Yemeni Armed Forces attacked two American destroyers and three accompanying supply ships in the Gulf of Aden using missiles and drones. He alleged these strikes occurred as the vessels left the port of Djibouti.
The announcement followed another high-profile operation targeting occupied Palestine. Saree stated that drones launched by the Yemeni Air Force struck a sensitive target in Ashdod, near Jaffa, in southern Israel.
Footage shared on social media purportedly showed drones hitting apartments in Tel Aviv, causing fires and structural damage.
This marks the second such claim in 24 hours, with Saree highlighting an earlier joint operation with Iraqi resistance forces. The Houthis reported striking another strategic target in southern Israel, emphasizing coordination among regional resistance groups.
Saree celebrated the operations as successful, framing them within the broader conflict in the region.
These actions signal a notable escalation in the Houthis' involvement in regional hostilities, extending beyond Yemen to include direct attacks on U.S. military assets and Israeli targets, raising concerns about their growing regional influence.
