During the forum, Huawei shared its leading industry concepts with world leading telecom carriers and over 6,000 participants, and demonstrated its robust R&D capabilities. Huawei led the opening workshop on “broadband access transformation” that featured leading telecom vendors such as Telefonica, TI, and True.
In a separate workshop with industry experts, Huawei presented its ideas on “Building multi-service IP bearer networks to pave the way for IMS development” that covered several topics on IP bearer network, such as security, quality of service and flexibility. Huawei also held the Metro Ethernet Network workshop on technology trends, operation models and prospects of IP MAN construction.
“In addition, Huawei also held several technical seminars on access network, optical network and data communications,” said Wang Jiading, vice president, Huawei Technologies Middle East and North Africa Operations. “During the three-day forum, Huawei showcased its superior Terabit FTTx solution and multi-service broadband MAN solution demonstrating its capacity for multi-services, like Triple-play.”
