Retired Egyptian actress Huda Ramzi has decided to return to the movie industry; however, this time she wants to be behind the camera.
The actress, who was recently divorced from her ex-football player/producer Sharif Abdul Mine’em, decided to get back into her career following the seperation.
In an interview with the London based Al Sharq El Awsat newspaper, the actress said “I will never return to acting because the roles that are present these days do not suit my veil.”
The actress had rekindeled her Islamic faith, as many Egyptian actresses have, after her marriage from Mine’em.
Meanwhile, Al Sharq El Awsat reported that Huda will be collaborating with her famous brother, film distributor Mohammad Hussein Ramzi on a film entitled Hi, Bye, Como Stai? (Hi, Bye, How Are You?), directed by karim Thiya’a Eddine.
Famous Egyptian singer Mustafa Amar is nominated for the leading role, alongside Mona Zaka, Yasser Jalal and Hani Ramzi.
Huda returns to the world of acting after a 9-year disappearance; when the actress declared that she wanted to dedicate all her time to raising her son Hassan from her first husband.
Soon after her retirement, the actress announced that she would be getting married for a second time. – Albawaba.com.
