ALBAWABA- A loud explosion was heard in Damascus as a result of new Israeli airstrikes, Syrian state TV reported.

Israeli airstrikes targeted the 75th Brigade in Al-Muqaylabiyah, near Al-Kiswah in the Damascus countryside, Syrian media confirmed.

A second raid struck the same military site, as reports indicate additional Israeli attacks on military positions around Al-Kiswah.

These strikes come just a day after Israeli raids completely destroyed T-4 and Hama airports, as well as the bombardment of the Damascus Scientific Research Center and other targets in Dara'a and Hama.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces also launched an incursion into Nawa, in Daraa, killing nine Syrians and injuring dozens in the latest wave of Israeli aggression against Syria.

Social media reports speculate that the explosion could be the result of an Israeli airstrike, especially following last night’s intense Israeli bombardment of the Damascus Scientific Research Center and other targets in Dara'a and Hama.
