i2 gears up for participation in gitex shopper
Special Instant Scratch and Win Promotions at i2 Compume stand
i2, the region’s largest and most diverse mobile phone provider, will be participating in GITEX Shoppers & Consumer Electronics Expo from September 6-12, 2007 at Airport Expo, Dubai. The company will have exciting instant scratch and win promotions throughout the duration of the event.
Commenting on i2’s participation, Dikran Tchablakian, Senior VP-Retail at i2, said, “GITEX Shopper being the region’s most prominent retail platform for consumer technology, is the ideal event for us to reach out to a large number of customers at one place. The continuing growth of the consumer electronics and mobile phones market will ensure a large number of visitors to GITEX and we look forward to an action packed event.”
This is the second year of i2’s participation at the spectacular show which expects more than 130, 000 visitors this year. i2 and CompuMe will participate as one entity during the event, following the merger of the two companies earlier this year. The combined stand will have a wide range of products and brands on display, extending beyond mobile phones to include laptops, MP3s and accessories.
Continuing its legacy of giving generous offers to customers, the i2 CompuMe stand will host two simultaneous instant scratch and win promotions during the event. The first one will be for all i2/CompueME brands and will allow shoppers who purchase goods with a value of AED 1,000 and above to instantly receive a scratch card that will entitle them to win special gifts, such as mobiles, laptops, etc. This is valid on all non-Nokia brands.
The second promotion is the Nokia Mega Promotion which offers customers who purchase any Nokia phone, a chance to instantly win AED 5,000, AED 1,000 or AED 500 preloaded debit cards and many other valuable prizes.
