ALBAWABA - The International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP) revealed in a press conference on Monday that it has created a special investigation unit to probe possible war crimes in Gaza.

According to the organization, there is "collected evidence that there is a risk that Israel will commit genocide in the Gaza Strip."

Ghassan Abu-Sittah spoke at a conference of the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians that the ICJP will be working along with the London Police War Investigation Unit with the aim of getting evidence.

Abu-Sitta further noted that during his work at Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, he confirmed that 45% of those with burns were children.

The Gaza government reported that the death toll in the Israel attacks on the Gaza Strip has reached 14,854 Palestinians, including 6,150 children and over 4,000 women.

Meanwhile, health authorities also mentioned that the number of Palestinians injured in the war since Oct. 7 hit more than 35,000.

The Gaza government’s media office revealed yesterday that the Israeli army has dropped 40,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, the Anadolu Agency reported.
