Ideas Arabia 5th International Conference Starts Tomorrow in Dubai

Under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of the Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports Council and the honorary sponsor of Dubai Quality Group "DQG", Ideas Arabia, a subgroup of the DQG, will organize tomorrow "Ideas Arabia 5th International Conference" titled "Innovation is your Decision" at Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel, with the participation of local, regional and international bodies.
 
Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer, the Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity & Water Authority "DEWA" will inaugurate the first day of the three-day conference.
 
The Conference aims primarily to help organizations redesign and develop creative programs and introduce mechanisms and suggestion schemes within the constraints of the new economy.
 
The Conference will also discuss how companies can benefit from collective ideas generated by various work teams in such organizations regarding developing new strategies for a more effective economy.
 
The conference includes lectures, seminars and workshops about the importance of Innovation and its role in upgrading the work of public and private organizations.
 
The conference will honor the winners of "Idea of the Year" competition, where the innovative idea that contributes to developing the organization and saving time, effort and additional costs will be honored. Other categories of the prize include Technology, Productivity, Customer Service, Environment, Health, Safety and Finance provided that such ideas became operational in 2009. An expert committee from various countries and organizations will supervise the assessment of the competing ideas.
 
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum will honor the winners of "Idea of the Year" competition as well as the sponsors and figures who considerably contribute to the conference success.
