Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) announces the appointment of Claus Hyldager as its new Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Claus replaces Simon Morse, who stepped down from ISS after having successfully led the Company during its sale to Istithmar earlier this year.

Claus brings with him over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry. His last assignment was as the Chief Operating Officer of Maritime Services within ISS.

Muneef Tarmoom, Chief Executive Officer of Istithmar, had the following comments: “Simon Morse was an asset to the Company - his contributions helped ISS enjoy strong growth and helped the Company become the world’s leading marine services provider. We look forward to Claus Hyldager carrying on Simon’s excellent work and leading the Company in this rapidly growing sector. Claus has been instrumental in positioning ISS as the market leader in port agency services, and the Company is poised to develop market share even further. Clients will continue to enjoy great service from ISS with our full backing and support”.
