The increase of wages for national education workers, in the shape of a "qualification compensation," is a decision made for all workers in this sector, affirmed the ministry's principal private secretary, Boubekeur Khaldi, APS reported. In a press conference conducted at his department Saturday, Khaldi declared that the announced wage increase concerns the personnel coming under decree 90/49 of 6 February 1990, related to the status of workers in the education sector. The net amount of this compensation is 5000 DA for secondary education teachers, 3200 DA for fundamental education teachers, and 2500 DA for primary education teachers, announced Khaldi.
