ALBAWABA - India's government announced that 13 people had been killed in fires carried out by the Pakistani army since Wednesday.
The government in New Delhi labeled the fire by Pakistan as a "ceasefire violations" along their de facto border amid escalated tension between the two countries following the April 22 deadly attack in India-administered Kashmir.
Moreover, India's foreign ministry said all people killed in the fire were in the town of Poonch. At least 59 others were injured, the majority also in the same town.
India's army also said that a soldier had been killed in Poonch yesterday "during Pakistan Army shelling", raising the death toll in India to 14.
On the other side, the Pakistani government announced that the death toll from the violence between New Delhi and Islamabad has jumped to 31 civilians.
