Intel is once again throwing its weight behind the local community as Dr. Craig Barrett, Intel global chairman and chairman of United Nations Global Alliance for Information and Communication Technologies and Development, Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Vice Chair of INJAZ-Al-Arab and Chairman of Bin Zayed Group, and HE Mr. Abdulla Al Musabbeh, Director General of Ministry of Education join forces in a judging panel during an INJAZ-UAE entrepreneurial to recognize budding young talents.
With strong support of His Excellency Dr. Hanif Hasan, UAE Minister of Education, at the Al Sufouh Secondary School for Girls in Dubai, Barrett announced yesterday (April 8th) that Intel is adopting an INJAZ UAE school in partnership with the Ministry of Education and also broadening its relationship with INJAZ al-Arab by pledging to donate a thousand volunteer hours. The program will span the region, building on the group’s relationship with Intel that began in 2006. INJAZ al-Arab, brings business and entrepreneurial programs to a dozen Arab countries, was established in 2004 with a goal of helping a million Arab youths by 2015.
