InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the world’s most global hotel company, has announced the appointment of Guzman Muela as General Manager at the InterContinental Al Ain Resort.

Located in the luscious green Oasis City, Muela joins the property with over 10 years experience with the group. He began his career as Assistant Food & Beverage manager at InterContinental Rio, Brazil and has also worked for IHG at properties in Venezuela, Dubai and Spain as both Food & Beverage Manager and later, Executive Manager. His most recent position was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Estepona in Costa del Sol.

In his new role, Muela will oversee all management functions with a focus on the further development of the incentives and meetings market, which is an integral part of the hotel’s business.
