International conference concerning the notion of Difference

The Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in the University of Kairouan (south Tunisia) will organize, with collaboration with UNESC Paris, the French Institute and the Cultural Italian Institute, an international conference concerning the notion of Difference. <i>La Presse</i> reports that the event is scheduled to take place from March 2 until March 5. According to Mr. Bיchir Koudhai, who is going to direct the conference, the concept of Difference (or diaphoria) is a concept that rejects any vertical hierarchy and which acknowledges only vertical variety. And hence it constitutes today an indispensable concept for exploring modernity and post-modernity in our world.
