Moroccan Minister of Culture, Mohammad Al Ashari announced that the 2nd International Oud Festival will be cut up between three cities in Morocco, reported the Qatari News Agecny, Quna.
Aside from Tatwan, where the main festival will be held, the Popular Arts facet of the festival will be held in Al Natour and the African Festival for Popular Arts will be in Aghadir.
Meanwhile, Al Ashari said that moving the Festival from Marrakesh to Tatwan was a result of research into Tatwan.
He added that the city is filled with cultural heritage and historical significance.
Another reason for the move is that Marrakesh is the center of various Arab and International Festivals, while Tatwan, has so far been untouched in that aspect-Albawaba.com.
