international property show 2008 increases total show area to 30,000 sq. m. to meet high exhibitors’ interest
Event organizers open Zabeel Hall as 80 per cent of exhibition space gets fully booked
International Property Show 2008, the biggest transactional property exhibition in the region, will occupy the 11,028 square meter Zabeel Hall of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, increasing the exhibition area to a total of 30,000 square meters with high expectations of a record participation for the fourth edition of the annual exhibition. With almost four months left to the event's opening scheduled for February 17, organizer Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions has already received an unprecedented number of confirmations with 80 percent of exhibition space already booked.
Among the major exhibitors that have booked their locations early are Al Qudra Holding, Al Fajer Properties, Tameer Holding, Deyaar, Falcon City of Wonders, Sorouh Real Estate, Khoie Properties from UAE, Abyaar Real Estate from Kuwait, Al Madar Group from Qatar, Bulgarian Land Development, and the Corcoran Group from the USA, along with other worldwide exhibitors. The organizers expect other key local and regional real estate and property players to confirm their participation at the next edition in the coming months.
"The International Property Show 2008 aims to achieve enormous success as we have been receiving a deluge of queries and booking requests well ahead of the event. We are very excited to witness such an overwhelming response from exhibitors all over the world. The success of the 2007 edition has keyed this surge of interest as exhibitors are now signing up for bigger spaces after achieving positive results in the previous show," said Dawood Al Shezawi, Managing Director, Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions.
"Exhibitors occupying Zabeel Hall will benefit from the hall’s prime location as well as the access to state-of-the-art facilities, which will ensure a successful participation for the developers in the 2008 edition. Following the trend in Halls 1, 2, 3 and 4, we anticipate exhibition spaces at the Zabeel Hall to be fully booked in a short time," added Al Shezawi.
The International Property Show 2008 will be held from 17-19 of February and is recognised as a powerful networking platform that attracts leading players from the local, regional and international property markets. The event will feature high profile real estate projects from across the globe, ranging from commercial properties to high and low-density residential developments, distinctive leisure and shopping centres as well as upscale resorts and hotels, targeting first home buyers, right through to high net worth investors.
"Year after year, the International Property Show is raising its profile as the widely preferred property exhibition in the region with the growing number of international and regional exhibitors and the multi-billion dirham property transactions taking place. The level of interest can be equated to the high degree of surpassed expectations, particularly in property transactions, networking prospects and number of visitors, which we expect to top 30,000 this year. With all these positive developments, we are confident of achieving another highly successful year for the International Property Show," concluded Al Shezawi.
