The Second International Conference on the "Protection of Islamic Sanctities in Palestine" opened Tuesday in Amman.
Delegations from several Arab and Muslim countries are taking part in the conference.
Dr. Abdulaziz Altuwaijri, the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) said that the opening session will discuss reports on the Islamic Sanctities in Palestine in light of Jewish threats and aggressive actions.
He asserted the significance of strengthening the role of international, regional and national organizations in this field.
