A Jordanian police officer has killed two US government security contractors, a South African trainer and two Jordanians in a shooting at an American-funded police training centre.
The officer was killed in a shootout at the centre near Amman, Jordanian authorities said.
US President Barack Obama said he was treating the attack, in which three Jordanians and one Lebanese citizen were also wounded, very seriously and a full investigation was under way.
