Iran has banned the import of raw livestock products from Germany following the detection of first case of brain-wasting Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) in Germany, Tehran Times reported Saturday.
The ban, according to Iran's Veterinary Organization, was imposed after the report of the case on November 26th and will be enforced pending investigations by Iranian and international scientific and veterinary organizations, the paper said -- Albawaba.com
