Two people were killed and five seriously wounded in an explosion at a workshop in southwestern Iran, newspaper reports said on Monday.
The blast, apparently set off by an oxygen cylinder at the site in the southwestern city of Ahwaz, was heard in many parts of the city, the Jomhuri Eslami paper said.
Such incidents are fairly common in Iran, where safety procedures in factories and workshops are frequently disregarded. The paper did not specify the date of the incident – TEHRAN (AFP)
