The first Iranian-made passenger plane has rolled off the production line in Asfahan, reported the BBC.online.
The minister of defense, Ali Shamkhani, said after an inspection that the jet, the Iran one-forty, would undergo sixty days of testing before joining the national fleet, said the BBC.
Shamkhani said the plane had high maneuverability, low fuel consumption and low engine noise.
He said his ministry had received orders for 127 of the aircraft, and that twelve planes would be manufactured per year, added the BBC - Albawaba.com
