Twelve people were killed and 20 wounded Saturday when a bus smashed into an electricity pole in southern Iran after the driver fell asleep at the wheel, the IRNA news agency said.
The accident happened near the Gulf port of Deilam in Bushehr province. Twelve of the injured had to be hospitalized, it said, without giving word on the fate of the driver.
