Iran and Croatia on Wednesday signed four agreements to boost their bilateral ties in the fields of politics, trade and science, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA).

The agreements were signed at the end of a Croatian President Stipe Mesic’s visit to Tehran where he held talks with his counterpart, Mohammed Khatami, and other senior officials, said the agency.

Mesic arrived in Tehran late Monday at the head of a

20-man delegation of businessmen on a three-day visit. He is the first foreign head of state to visit Iran since Khatami's re-election – Albawaba.com
