Iran said Sunday it had protested to Jordan for inviting the widow of the shah to the wedding of Crown Prince Hamza. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi said the Islamic Republic had demanded an explanation from Amman after summoning Jordanian charge d`affaires to Tehran Saturday evening and lodging an official complaint.
