The fifth round of a "constructive dialogue" between Iran and the European Union started in Tehran on Wednesday, reported Iran News Agency (IRNA).
Both sides exchanged views on areas of bilateral cooperation as energy, transportation, commerce and investment, narcotics, refugees and the environment, said IRNA.
They also discussed regional issues such as those pertaining to Afghanistan, Middle East, Lebanon, Persian Gulf, Caspian Sea, Central Asia and the Balkans.
Discussions also focused on international issues, including disarmament, terrorism and human rights.
Previous four rounds of talks were held in Tehran and European capitals, according to the agency - Albawaba.com
