In Iran: Fingers of thieves amputated

Two thieves each had the four fingers of their right hands amputated as a punishment under Iran's Islamic sharia law, according to Entekhab on Wednesday. 

 

A Tehran court had found the two repeated offenders guilty of around 200 thefts in a year. (Albawaba.com)
