Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi concluded an official visit to Moscow and arrived in Tashkent
Tuesday to meet with senior Uzbek officials.
During his visit to Tashkent, Kharrazi is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Uzbek President Islam Karimov, Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyayev and Foreign Minister Sadyq Safaev, IRNA reported.
Tehran and Tashkent are to sign two documents for cooperation on Iran's 2.5 million dollars development assistance to Uzbekistan as well as expansion of consular activities.
Furthermore, the news agency said, Iran's chamber at the Tashkent Islamic University is to be inaugurated in the presence of Kharrazi. (Albawaba.com)
