Iran will by no means negotiate suspension of its enrichment activities, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Sunday. "Iran will by no means back quit its rights because of pressures and sanctions," the spokesman said, according to IRNA.
Meanwhile, Hosseini on Sunday protested to the French government over summoning of Iran's ambassador to the Foreign Ministry. "We have objections to summoning of Iranian envoy. The move was made under the pretext of certain realities in the region."
Hosseini regretted that France has kept silent toward "escalation of Israeli crimes against people in Gaza Strip" as well as the Israeli threats against Iran and other regional countries. "Regretfully, Paris ignores such cases. It summons Iran's ambassador, probably to please the Tel Aviv regime," he noted. The French authorities have protested comments by the Iranian president on the future destruction of Israel.
