A 6.3 magnitude earthquake shook south-west Iran on Tuesday, with ripples felt as far as Dubai, the BBC reported.
Reports suggest that 30 people have been killed with 650 injured, the BBC is reporting.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck close to the country's nuclear power station in Bushehr. Its epicenter was 55 miles away from the site.
Locals reported that the nuclear facility was still functioning normally as of Tuesday afternoon.
Iran's last 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Tabriz in August 2012, causing over 300 fatalities. There are no reports on the level of destruction so far.
