The Abu Dhabi customs organization reported Friday that Iran ranked first in absorbing Abu Dhabi's re-exports in July, 2000, reported Iran News Agency (IRNA).

Abu Dhabi's re-exports to Iran were valued at 6.7 million dollars over the period and the country’s total re-exports stood at 26 million dollars in July, said the agency.

The office reported on Friday that the value of re-exported items was 17.4 million dollars in the corresponding month last year.

According to the agency, Iran has consistently ranked first in absorbing re-exports of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, in the past few years.

Audio-visual equipment, foodstuffs, transportation equipment and certain other commodities are Abu Dhabi's re-export items, said IRNA - Albawaba.com
