Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi reiterated Iran's opposition to any war against Iraq, saying this would lead to instability in the region. "Iran will not participate in any military action against a Muslim country, even if the UN Security Council issued a resolution to launch an anti-Iraq war but will deal with the resolution as a reality," Kharrazi was quoted by IRNA Saturday.
The Iranian minister was reacting to a Reuters dispatch, saying "Iran would not oppose US military action against neighboring Iraq if the United Nations authorized a strike." (Albawaba.com)
