Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad Najjar on Monday dismissed Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz's 'foolish' threat of attacking Iran and said Israel should in that case await a 'very painful' response.
"The response for anybody wishing to take such a foolish move will be highly painful," Najjar told reporters. He said that having suffered psychological problems after its humiliating defeat from Lebanese Hizbullah, Israel has no hope for survival. "So, they raise some foolish claims every now and then," he added.
According to him, Iran is a stable and durable system and its armed forces are in the zenith of power.
