An Iranian who was about to get married is now headed to the gallows instead after stabbing to death his brother-in-law-to-be in a family dispute, a newspaper reported Saturday.
The Khorassan paper said the man was shopping four days before the wedding when a dispute broke out between the two families. He stabbed his fiancée’s brother, who later bled to death.
A court has ordered the 27-year-old man, identified only as Nasser A., to be hanged, the paper said, without giving a date for the execution -- TEHRAN (AFP)
