Mr. Ali Larijani, the Head of Iran’s Voice and Vision Broadcasting Organization, described the Osama Bin Laden video as phony, and as an attempt to accuse Islamic societies of terrorist involvement.

Mr. Larijani said, “The preparation and demonstration of Bin Ladin's remarks on U.S. television channels clearly shows that there is a discrepancy between the U.S.A.'s arrogant aim, which is hidden under the pretext of fighting against terrorism, and the

pictures from Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban.”

He added that the Bin Laden issue is minor, and that the real U.S. motive in deploying troops into the region was to gain access to the Arabian Gulf and Caspian Sea energy resources.

Meanwhile, on Friday American military units supporting Afghan fighters continued to search the caves and tunnels of eastern Afghanistan for members of bin Laden's al-Qaeda organisation. However, at the moment the specific location of the Saudi dissident is still a mystery. (Albawaba.com)
