Iran's Information Minister Ali Younesi said on Thursday that the "plots hatched by enemies are doomed to failure." They have resorted to all means to provoke unrest in the country, he said adding that the US is trying to misuse religion in order to deviate the young generation from ethics and aspirations of the Islamic Revolution.

The Iranian minister stated that the Middle East due to its strategic situation has always been considered as a center for provoking rift among political and ethnic disputes. The US is to preparing the ground for a kind of compromising Islam to dominate the Persian Gulf region and the Middle East in a bid to attain its own economic and hegemonic goals, Younesi said.

"The US officials should know that igniting a hardware revolution or a war in Iran will only cause them to lose their targets and will also turn the country into a big cemetery for their soldiers. The Americans try to distort the image of the Islamic government in Iran and alienate the Iranian nation from revolution and Velayat-e Faqih (governance of supreme jurisprudence)," he said.
