Iranian Reformist Returns to Prison from Hospital

Convicted Iranian reformer and former interior minister, Abdollah Nuri, who was hospitalized last month, was returned to Tehran's Evin prison Saturday to serve out his the remainder of a five-year sentence, reported Iran News Agency (IRNA). 

Nuri, 52, had been taken to hospital complaining of neck pain, said the agency.  

Nuri was sentenced last year by the hardline special court for clergy for "insulting" the founder of the Islamic republic, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, in his paper, Khordad, which has since been banned, said the agency - Albawaba.com
