Iranian Vice President Mohammed Reza Aref headed on Wednesday to Tunisia for an official one-day visit, to discuss bilateral relations and recent developments of the Iraqi issue.
Aref told the press prior to his departure, "the developing relations between the two countries are the result of efforts to overcome instability in relations between them."
According to KUNA news agency, he added, "during the visit we will review the previous agreement signed by the two countries."
The agreement includes cooperation in the fields of transport, customs, environment and trade.
Meanwhile, the Iranian official is scheduled to meet with Greek Prime Minister Konstandinos Simitis on his way to Tunisia, the news agency concluded. (Albawaba.com)
