Iraq’s Foreign Minister Naji Sabri expressed hope on Sunday that next week's talks in Vienna, Austria with the United Nations on outstanding issues, especially the return of UN arms inspectors, would lead to a comprehensive settlement between the two sides.

"We hope that this round will be a step towards a comprehensive settlement, starting with the complete and definitive lifting of the immoral and criminal embargo imposed on our people for more than 12 years," Sabri said, according to AFP

"Iraq wants a comprehensive settlement and will not accept partial solutions," Sabri told reporters upon his departure from Baghdad for the Austrian capital for talks with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan scheduled for July 4-5. (Albawaba.com)
